The 2023 World Judo Championships are coming soon ! After Uzbekistan in 2022, it is the turn of Qatar to host the competition of the year. Doha will host nearly 500 judokas from all over the world. <\/p>\n\n

The Fighting Films team ready for the World Judo Championships<\/h2>\n\n

The year 2023 is starting on a high note for our Fighting Films athletes. First of all revelations among the young judokas but also confirmations for the most experienced. The five Grand Slams of this year have shown that the Superstars of Team Fighting Films are ready for the big event of the year, the World Championships. Thus, one year before the Olympic Games, a rain of medals fell on our athletes. <\/p>\n\n

ALPHA DJALO (-81kg)<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

From the start of the year and at home, Alpha Djalo distinguished himself with a superb third place at the Grand Slam in Paris. The PSG resident is in great form, he won a new bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya, a few weeks before the world championships. Currently 5th in the world in the -81kg category, Alpha Djalo is looking forward to this competition more than ever. @alpha_djalo <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

MICHAEL KORREL<\/em><\/strong> (-100kg)<\/h2>\n\n

The reigning European vice-champion is also starting his 2023 in the best possible way. Two Grand Slams, two finals, a gold medal in Paris and silver in Tel Av After a bronze medal at the 2022 World Judo Championships and another in 2019, the Dutchman is determined to come away with the title. 2nd in the world on the eve of the competition, he is one of the favorites to win the title. @korrelforgold<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PATRICIA SAMPAIO (-78kg)<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The young Portuguese girl is one of the revelations of the year 2023. At only 23 years old she won at home at the Portuguese Grand Prix. In addition, she finished three times on the third step of the Grand Slam podium: Tel Aviv, Tashkent and Antalya. The 26-year-old Swiss judoka<\/a> concluded the year 2022 in style with two Open titles and a victory at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. 2023 is shaping up to be just as good for our young superstar. After a victory in Tel Aviv and a third place in Tashkent, he is in optimal conditions to perform at the 2023 World Championships. DANIEL EICH (-100kg)<\/em><\/h2>\n\n

Another talented young Swiss judoka, Daniel Eich is ready for the world judo championships. At the age of 23 he won his first Grand Slam medal in Antalya. In a very high level category he will try to impose his physical power to overcome his more experienced opponents. Finally, the young Swiss participates in numerous competitions allowing him to evolve ever more quickly. @daniel.eich2000<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
