{"id":8788,"date":"2022-01-17T16:29:32","date_gmt":"2022-01-17T15:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fightingfilms.shop\/new-2022-ijf-standards-for-judogi\/"},"modified":"2024-01-31T11:24:12","modified_gmt":"2024-01-31T10:24:12","slug":"new-2022-ijf-standards-for-judogi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fightingfilms.shop\/en\/new-2022-ijf-standards-for-judogi\/","title":{"rendered":"The new IJF standards for judogis in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since <strong>January <sup>1,<\/sup> 2022<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/78884ca60822a34fb0e6-082b8fd5551e97bc65e327988b444396.ssl.cf3.rackcdn.com\/up\/2022\/01\/IJF_Refereeing_Rules_update_20-1641892153.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the International Judo Federation<\/a> has changed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=m5Zmpvs7S4E\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its standards<\/a><\/strong> concerning <strong>IJF approved<\/strong> <strong>judogis.<\/strong> We explain everything about the new IJF standards !<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">The new IJF standards for judogi in 2022<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>IJF standards<\/strong> which have not changed for <strong>approved judogis<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The kimono <strong>sleeves<\/strong> should fit <strong>at the base of the wrist.<\/strong> There is a maximum tolerance of 1 cm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>pants<\/strong> should not rise more than <strong>5 cm above the malleolus.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The space between the fabric and the arm or leg<\/strong> should be between <strong>10 and 15 cm.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once fastened, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fightingfilms.shop\/produit\/ceintures\/ceinture-noire-de-judo-approuve-ijf\/\">the belt<\/a> must not come undone<\/strong> by pushing on either end. These should be <strong>20 to 30 cm from the node<\/strong>. And it must be worn above the hip bone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In international competitions, <strong>fighters must wear white and blue judogi<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">What changes with the new rules<\/h2>\n\n<p>The standards do not change much for the 2022\/2024 Olympiad regarding judogis. However, some points, such as the length of the jacket, will change. We explain!<\/p>\n\n<p>The distance between the <strong>points where the jacket passes through<\/strong> the waistband must be <strong>25 cm<\/strong>. The inspection carried out 2 days before the competition allows judokas who do not meet the standards to <strong>find a judogi that complies with the standards<\/strong> and to be able to put on their number. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mybacknumber.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>their number<\/strong><\/a> on the new judogis.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>What&#8217;s new for Fighting Films judogis &#8211; Superstar 750 (IFJ-approved)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>To maintain its status as an IJF supplier, Figting Films has met the new standards.
