Description
The fall mat is an important element in judoka training. After repeatedUchi-Komi training, it allows you to move on to the next stage. The Uchi-Komi is simply the repetition of the movement that precedes the opponent’s throw.
With this fall mat, you can work on the Nage-Komi. It’s the complete execution of the opponent’s projection. This mat allows you to practice Nage-Komi while protecting the physical integrity of your training partner. The carpet makes the fall less abrupt.
The mat is much less dense than judo tatami.
Approximately 80kg/m3 compared with over 200kg/m3 for carpets. The mat helps cushion the landing. It is 8 cm thick in the center and 4 cm thick at the ends.
Its size of 200cm / 100cm ensures protection for the judoka being thrown.
Ideal for young and old alike, this mat is a must-have for every judo club. It’s vital for young judokas to know how to fall, and this kind of mat helps to reassure them without hurting themselves!
