Our Respect kimono suit by Keiko-Gi takes its name from one of the seven fundamental values of judo. With this collection, we want to bring together judo, a centuries-old martial art, and fashion, by creating genuine kimono cloth garments.
The simplicity and elegance of the suit is inspired by contemporary Japanese fashion. Japanese fashion is booming, with renowned designers highlighting the culture and traditions of the land of the rising sun.
The Respect kimono suit is a women’s 100% cotton suit made in the same way as judo kimonos. The weaving technique used is sashikoa typical Asian weaving technique that makes the fabric very strong, yet light and comfortable to wear.
An elegant gold zipper runs from the chest to the bottom of the belly. The kimono suit also features two small pockets on the chest and waist.
The cut is fitted at the waist and flared at the legs. What’s more, the opening on the side of the jumpsuit is large enough to add a very street and lifestyle style for an evening out with friends or a more chic dinner party.
The suit comes with a belt that is similar to traditional judo belts, recalling this relationship between the two worlds while adding a unique aesthetic effect.
