Chishiki, a name with meaning
In Japanese, the word “Chishiki” (識知) means “knowledge”. This name perfectly reflects the essence of the project: to transmit a precise and profound knowledge of judo, while respecting the Japanese culture from which it originated.
Chishiki Judo founder Christian Álvarez has 23 years’ experience in the martial arts. A passionate judoka since the age of 4, he is now a 4th dan black belt in judo and a 1st dan black belt in self-defense. His aim is to share his expertise and passion through this unique project.
