The Superstar 750 IJF is available in two cuts to suit different body shapes.
Standard Fit
The Standard Fit is the classic Fighting Films cut. It suits the majority of judokas looking for a snug-fitting kimono with good body support and a dynamic silhouette.
Large Fit
The Large Fit cut is wider at the waist. It’s ideal for judokas who want more room around the belly, without having to wear a jacket that’s too long.
For example, a 170 cm Large Fit kimono retains the length of a 170 cm Standard Fit, but offers an abdominal width close to that of a 175 cm Standard Fit.
How do I choose the right size?
For Fighting Films kimonos, we generally recommend choosing a size 5 cm smaller than your actual size.
Example:
If you are 1m70 tall, we recommend you choose a 165 cm kimono.
This recommendation ensures a better fit after washing, while maintaining good freedom of movement. Under current IJF standards, the jacket skirt is longer than before, so it’s important not to choose a kimono that’s too big.
